2024-25 Career Readiness Community of Practice

**This is a two-session series.  Series dates are scheduled for January 9, 2025 and February 5, 2025**

This year’s Community of Practice is designed to guide educators through the Wisconsin Career Readiness Standards (WCRS) and provide actionable strategies for creating future-ready students. Our modules will focus on continuous improvement, career-connected learning, personalized competency-based education, and work-based learning. 

Participants will explore topics such as:

• Understanding the Why: The rationale behind the Wisconsin Career Readiness Standards and their alignment with state initiatives.

• From Concept to Classroom: How to effectively implement the standards in K-12 classrooms.

• Learning Targets: Clarifying skills and expectations for students and educators.

• Competency-Based Education: Driving student success through mastery and personalized learning.

• Continuous Improvement: Transforming educational practices to ensure every student is prepared for the future.
