Description

EE Evaluator Training for New Evaluators
August 5, 2026;  12:00 - 3:00 PM at CESA 4
Lunch is provided at 11:30 AM

Stepping into the role of evaluator is one of the most important leadership responsibilities for new principals and associate principals. This session is specifically designed for administrators who are new to leading Educator Effectiveness in their buildings. Participants will build a foundational understanding of statutory EE requirements, district and school flexibilities within the system, and the critical role evaluators play in shaping a culture of growth, feedback, and continuous improvement.

In addition to reviewing required processes and timelines, the session will focus on practical leadership moves including observation and feedback conversations, building trust with staff, calibration considerations, and strategies for using Educator Effectiveness as a tool for professional growth rather than compliance.

Join us to gain resources, ask questions, and strengthen your confidence as an instructional leader and evaluator.

Lunch is provided for all participants prior to the session.
